The H & O Neo standard is the same as the original H & O using 25% of the add in front of the pupil. The Long and the Wide are as the names implies:
- Long has only 15% of the add in front of the pupil so giving a much longer focus at pupil height
- Wide is 40% of the add in front of the pupil so the depth of field is less but the wearer should have a nice wide field for that distance.
The Soltes wide Neo is designed to spread the the change across 19mm of the surface and place half of the shift directly in front of the pupil usually for computer use,but can suit other occupational uses, particularly when there is a demand for intermediate vision for objects above eye-level.
